There’s so much to Yorkshire I’ve had to leave it in its own gallery here, with picturesque villages, rolling countryside, richly layered cities and a fascinating coastline. East Riding’s Spurn Point is so volatile that there are former military batteries spilling out of the cliffs and in to the sea; Sheffield boasts the largest listed building in Europe with the magnificent Park Hill flats, and there are coal fired power stations vanishing from the landscape all the time – making it all the more important to capture them as memories here.
