North East England

I absolutely love this region and have spent many a mini-break along its coastline, relaxing in the winter or getting up and about early in the summer.

This collection covers everything from Hadrian’s Wall down to Teesside, from the blissfully remote Holy Island to the meccano-like bridges over the River Tees. Secluded tank graveyards hide in the vast Northumberland National Park, the Durham coalfield has a legacy to be discovered, while Newcastle presents a great place to spend a few days.
